We had a great stay at the Hotel 340. It's a very convenient location to walk to the Xcel Energy Center and local shops & restaurants. The staff was friendly and the property was clean. We really enjoyed the charm of the historic building.

Hotel 340 is our absolute favorite while staying in St. Paul, MN. Every room is different and it is immaculate. The hotel is the old St Paul Athletic Club and the lobby is beautiful. Their complimentary breakfast has everything you would want and in a quiet comfortable room. This Hotel is a must see to believe we love it!

I always look for historic hotels when I travel, so I was very happy to discover Hotel 340 when looking for a room in downtown St Paul. Beautifully restored historic building, modernization well-done, lovely continental breakfast, helpful staff. ... I look forward to my next stay and highly recommend it!

Our first stay at Hotel 340 was outstanding in every way, and we will definitely be back.
We recently stayed at Hotel 340 for several days, and absolutely loved it. The lobby is full of beautiful, ornate details, with comfortable couches and music by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald being piped through the space. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the furnishings were high quality and tasteful. ... We can't wait to go back.

My husband and I found this hotel relaxing and romantic with an exceptional staff. The location is great and within walking distance of many fabulous bars and restaurants. The room and furnishings were very charming, and the hotel was quiet, clean and beautiful. We highly recommend this hotel, and plan to revisit for our wedding anniversary next year.

Great historic hotel with a modern twist situated in downtown St. Paul. At hotel 340 you feel as though you are taking a step back in time without sacrificing modern amenities. As an avid traveler I can honestly say that the bed (and pillow combination) was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in. I am honestly considering purchasing the pillows for my own home.
Loved the dark wood flooring and classic bathroom tile. The details in the hotel were priceless. The lobby was attractive and the St. Paul Athletic Club gym was better than 95% of all hotel gym facilities.

We wanted a special, romantic getaway hotel for a special night out (Jimmy Buffett concert). We decided on the Hotel 340 and were not disappointed! Easy walking distance to the Xcel Energy Center and many restaurants / bars, this beautiful hotel has European rustic charm.
We hosted a group of colleagues from around the country - 14 different states. They all had good things to say about their rooms and the front desk staff. The lobby and attached bar was a gorgeous location for our informal welcome gathering on the first night of the conference. Our guests were able to get a true feel for downtown St. Paul being so close to the river and downtown parks and attractions. Very affordable rates.

The beds were amazingly comfortable, probably the most comfy I have slept on in a hotel in years. And the breakfast area was set up to easily meet other people if you want to.
Great historic building, wonderfully renovated to today's standards.

We recently stayed at Hotel 340 for three days. The lobby area of this old hotel is so beautiful that I took pictures of it to remember it. The staff was great. We checked into the hotel in the middle of the night because of a very late flight, and they could not have been any nicer. Our room was huge and tastefully decorated. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of many good restaurants, shops, and other attractions in St. Paul. I highly recommend it.

Stayed at this hotel and had a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was a corner room with great views of the city and was very nice and comfortable and clean and quiet. The hotel is close to many restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this hotel!
