Night Auditor

Hotel 340 Lobby

Front Desk Shifts: 11:30 p.m. to 9:30 a.m. or 8:00 a.m.  
Job Type: Part-time and Full-time Available
Salary: $14.50 to $15.50 /hour - Hourly pay based on experience.


The Night Auditor is responsible for attending to the needs of guests, balancing the revenue and expense transactions that occurred during the day, and performing all of the functions of the front desk staff during the audit shift

  • Maintain and promote exceptional customer service and personalizes experiences for guests and members during shifts at all times
  • Checks completed registration cards against information on arrival report and rectifies any discrepancies
  • Completes daily reporting packet and daily accounting packet
  • Ensures property is safe and secure for tenants, guests, and employees via monitoring of security cameras and routine security checks
  • Run booking report with notes and ensure all guest requests are proactively fulfilled for the following day (anniversaries, birthdays, Rewards members, etc.) and indicate important details on registration cards
  • Have knowledge of any and all promotions and/or current program etc.
  • Assist with the resolution of customer complaints and concerns
  • Ensure accurate and efficient accounts and guest billing process.
  • Ensure the hotel reception area, as well as the back office, are clean and tidy at all times.
  • General office duties, including correspondence, emails, filing, and switchboard, to ensure the smooth running of the reception area.
  • Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear communication, within three rings whenever possible.
  • Retrieve messages and communicate the content to the guest.  Retrieve mail, small packages and facsimiles for customers as requested.
  • Ensure all reservations and cancellations are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Report any maintenance, breakage, or cleanliness problems to the manager via a work order form
  • Ensures property is safe and secure for tenants, guests, and employees via monitoring of security cameras and routine security checks
  • To complete a set of daily tasks including, but not limited to:  Creating a fire list, recording key inventory, recognizing repeat guests, completely guest request notes, counting and recording bar till monies, counting and recording petty cash monies, directing and recording building deliveries, keeping track and marking rooms as vacant and clean, preparing and taking out trash, creating the rollover report, ensuring that all guest payments were taken correctly, entering any additional registration card information
  • Perform bartending duties to guests, SPAC members, and building tenants.
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis, flexible hours.
  • Acts as Manager on Duty on overnight shifts
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Must maintain a professional, neat, clean appearance and practice good personal hygiene
